Meet your teacher!
Hello parents and students! I'm looking forward to working with you and getting to know you this year. I have two children, my son Liam (4) and my daughter Addie Grace (2). My husband and I love to travel, and we have taken groups of students on educational tours several times and hope to go again soon. I'm originally from Raleigh, but have been living in Pitt County for fourteen years. This is my 12th year teaching and my 10th year at Rose. I have a bachelor's degree and a master's degree from ECU, and I am a National Board Certified Teacher in Adolescent and Young Adult English/Language Arts. I am the advisor for the National English Honor Society here at Rose as well as the National Honor Society. This year, I will be teaching AP English 3, Honors Contemporary Literature and Journalism. If you are not in journalism this year but you are interested in writing for the school paper, Rampant Lines, in the future, please talk to me!
